Pitufa is a mix of Galgo and Mastiff. She arrived at our shelter from Aguilar de la Frontera together with her companions Pumpkin and Toñi, their owner didn’t want them anymore and decided that the solution was to let them die of hunger, according to him, they didn’t deserve even a handful of food. Luckily someone decided to report the situation and the police intervened, and they were taken away from their owner and handed over to us.
Because of this, she is a girl who needs to regain her trust in humans, something that our volunteers work every day, giving her affection, giving her cuddles and teaching her that there is nothing to fear and she is gradually accepting and thanking these signs of affection, letting us see what an incredible dog she is going to become, a really adorable and very cuddly girl.
She gets on well with other dogs and being with them helps her to feel more confident and secure.
For Pitufa we are looking for a home where she will be given the time she needs to be a confident and secure dog, a family that understands her past and the emotional burden that comes with it. It is clear to us that with time and love, she will be a balanced, confident and very happy dog.
