Candela is a very beautiful girl who is back with us, returned by the family who once adopted her. After five years living with her adoptive family they returned Candela to us because they told us she has problems with their other dog, who is older, that they don’t know how to control the situation and they cannot keep Candela.
When Candela arrived at the shelter she was scared, insecure and very sad. She wouldn’t stop crying and didn’t want to eat anything, and her only intention was to escape. For fear that Candela would get sick or something would happen to her, we quickly looked for a foster home for her.
In this foster home Candela quickly gained confidence. She was affectionate and loving with the people in her foster family and she also gets along very well with all the dogs they have at home.
They gave us a description of Candela when they returned her, but what we can see is totally different. When Candela trusts her family she is all love and friendliness and she gets along well with other dogs.
Candela needs a new chance, a family that truly loves her.
