Queca arrived at our shelter from Fuengirola, a village in Malaga. This beautiful podenca was wandering alone and abandoned in the middle of the countryside. Luckily, little by little, she was approaching a property where she was given food and water, and they managed to gain her trust until she was brought to safety and they asked us for help.
In the short time she has been with us, Queca is still shy and reserved with strangers. Since her introduction to the playground with the rest of her doggy companions, she has started to be more approachable and curious, so we are sure that, despite her initial shyness, with a little time and the support of our volunteers, our girl will feel more confident and gain confidence.
Queca has youth, gentleness and the potential to become an exceptional, loyal and loving companion for those families who are willing to provide her with patience, understanding and the right environment for her to feel truly comfortable.
