Irene is a beautiful one and half year old female Podenca. Irene’s story is, once again, the sad summary of the curse of being born in Spain as one of the breeds called “hunting dogs”, another clear example of how easy it is to get rid of an animal when it no longer serves you or you have exploited it enough…
In spite of this, Irene does not hold a grudge against humans. She is a friendly, affectionate, playful and a very nice girl. With other dogs she is a very sociable and balanced girl, she lives and interacts with them very well.
