Ona arrives from a village in Cordoba. She was born in the hunting world, so her destiny was to be used and mistreated for the rest of her life. Luckily for her, her owner decided that she wasn’t ‘good’ for hunting and gave her up, that’s how this wonderful girl came to us.
Proving once again that she is a lucky girl, Ona went to a foster home a few days after arriving at the shelter. There she is learning what a real life is and how good she is at being a couch greyhound.
Her foster family tells us that she is a really amazing girl, affectionate, happy and playful. She is clean at home, walks well on a leash, is sociable with other dogs and of course, with people, in fact, she loves to be the centre of attention and to receive cuddles. We are also told that she is a little bit barky with food, nothing to worry about and something very normal, especially when you know well what it is like to be hungry.
