Clara was handed in with Pamela in Badajoz by their galguero when they were not useful any more for hunting. Luckily for them, in Galgos en Familia we believe in second opportunities.
At the beginning, Clara needed some time to get used to live in the shelter, but we could see how she has been gaining some confidence. When she arrived she didn’t like having any contact with volunteers, however now she is a calm and kind girl who enjoys having as many cuddles as we want to give her. With unknowns she is still a bit shy but as soon as she feels comfortable, she changes her behaviour.
With other dogs in the shelter, she doesn’t have any problem. She is a sociable girl with males or females.
Carla is a dog who has been suffering for 10 years, so now she needs some time to accept all good things are happening to her. Hopefully, she will find soon the sofa of a good home. Could be yours? Adopt her!
