Chimi came along with Churri rescued by SOS Rescue, rescue of galgos podencos and others in Malaga.
Chimi is an adult galguito who had to have an operation on his back leg when he was brought in, so he went to a foster home. His foster says that he is a very noble dog, in spite of the bad things he has been through he doesn’t have any bad gesture towards humans. He is shy at first with strangers, but when he has had a visitor at home and stays for the day, he is very friendly.
He is very affectionate with the people he lives with, he loves cuddles and is always very happy to greet us. In the street, he gets scared if he hears a loud noise and is suspicious if someone walks behind us, but otherwise he is fine. Since he started to go for walks he always does his needs outside, nothing inside. He is very sociable, he gets on well with other dogs, no matter their size or sex. If the other dog is dominant he avoids him and is always submissive, he looks for security by taking refuge in the people he lives with.
Although our Chimi is very happy in his foster home, he needs to find his definitive home, his place in the world, his family, that family that loves him and takes care of him forever.
