LLUM

After so many days of holiday we return to our section of the dog of the week because our dogs need us and we want everyone knows a bit more in depth their history, their -almost always- sad life and help us to reach as many people so they can find the home they deserve.
This week we are going to introduce you to Llum, a sweet tan colored galga who came to our shelter so afraid and could not bear the presence of a human and ran to try to hide. Llum came to the shelter with two galgas, Andrea and Alai. All three came from the animal shelter in Málaga, so we can not know their exact history, but for the condition in which they came, we can deduce that they were not very well treated.

The first days were difficult, they are very afraid and constantly fleeing all our volunteers. Gradually they were taking more confidence, they realized that we were not going to hurt, and little by little they came closer. Together they felt safer, and their company and the patience of our volunteers made it possible to overcome this fear.

One more time we do not understand on what grounds nobody has been interested in Llum. It is a quiet, obedient, playful and loving dog. She has overcome all her fears and does not hesitate in getting closer to our volunteers looking for caresses, it’s something she loves. She is not at all dominant, she gets on well with all dogs from the shelter, and she plays with them whenever she can. She is also available to live with cats, because she ignores them. As we have said, she has no fear and she just want to live the life she deserves, surrounded by people who love and pamper her and give her basic cares.
