Gardel is the star of this week, a beautiful 7 and a half years old greyhound who was rescued wandering in the streets of Rota, in Cádiz.
Our colleagues from the shelter Siempre Contigo didn’t hesitate and took him. When Gardel arrived at the shelter, he was a sad dog, spending the days lying on the floor, and he didn’t want to leave from his chenil. But step by step, we were introducing him other dogs and he was winning confidence and happiness.
Gardel currently lives in a residence where he lives with more dogs. Volunteers told us that he is a calm dog, sociable but submissive. He has a good behavior and also a good relationship with all kind of dogs, wether large and small ones and both male or female.
As for the relationship with people, Gardel has improved a lot. We can imagine how his past has been because of how distrustful he was with us at the beginning when we met him. But with patience and time, he has gained faith and security.
We would love that this preciousness could find a house where he felt the real affection and the warmth of belong to a family and all that means: peace, calm and love. A place to feel loved forever. Adopt Gardel! He is waiting for you.
