Chicho came to us from Casarabonela, a village in Málaga, when he was still just a one year old puppy. His initial fears and distrust made us think he had a difficult past.

However, with time and the patience of our volunteers, Chicho began to show more confidence with the people he already knew.

At the shelter, he found an inseparable friend, a female mastiff with whom he shared games and companionship until she was adopted.

Now, Chicho lives in a wonderful foster home, where he has learned to get along with dogs of all breeds and sizes, showing great adaptability. They are teaching him to walk on a leash but we need to keep working on that.

Although he’s still reserved with strangers, his progress has been remarkable. He’s no longer the fearful dog he was when he arrived at the shelter. He just needs a forever home that offers him security, patience, and love. He would be happy in a family with another dog.

Would you like to be his happy ending?
