Chakana comes from a village in Granada where she was abandoned to her fate. A girl who could catch her asked us for help, and now Chakana is in a foster home with one of our volunteers.
Chakana, in spite of her young age and knowing what abandonment is, is a nice and noble girl. She arrived with a fracture in one of her back legs. The vet specialist saw her and told us that it is an old fracture, it is totally welded, she is not in pain, and she can live a normal life without having to be operated on.
